About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Content Editor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in bringing our content to life through engaging, high-quality videos tailored for social media and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing digital content, with a focus on trading insights, educational topics, and platform updates. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage and ideas into compelling visual stories that capture attention, enhance understanding, and support our marketing and educational initiatives. Beyond technical editing, you will shape content to optimize performance across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring each video aligns with our brand voice and audience preferences. You will take full ownership of the editing process, from structuring content and pacing to delivering polished assets within deadlines. Collaboration with marketing and content teams will be essential to ensure our videos meet strategic objectives and resonate with our target audience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, preferably with digital content, social media, or marketing-related projects.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is required; experience with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media video formats, performance metrics, and platform-specific editing styles for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and similar channels.
- Proven ability to produce both long-form and short-form videos, with adaptability in pacing and storytelling.
- Excellent storytelling fundamentals, including pacing, transitions, visual structure, and attention to detail.
- Experience adding subtitles, captions, basic motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance engagement and clarity.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with a high level of accuracy and clarity in communication.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working remotely in an asynchronous environment, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
