Project Manager

Our client, a leader in aerospace & defense, is looking to hire a Project Manager. This role is fully remote and will align to EST and CST time zones.

*This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits!*

As a Project Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects across all phases of planning, implementation and migration. You will be responsible for creating, optimizing and driving schedules and project plans across cross-functional teams, and partners. This is an ideal role for someone ready to expand beyond traditional project management into broader program-level visibility, coordination, and strategic contribution!

What You'll Be Doing

• Define deliverables, scope, and develop detailed project plans and schedules to ensure successful outcomes across clients and business objectives
• Support program-level coordination, while owning execution of individual projects and workstreams
• Identify, escalate, and help resolve risks and issues, including proposing actionable mitigation plans
• Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across the program

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 6+ years of experience (or 10+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
• Experience in project management across infrastructure, security, or software development initiatives, working across Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies
• Foundation in application development, infrastructure, or cybersecurity projects
• Experience building and managing schedules in MS Project or similar tools

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• PMP Certification or similar highly valued!
• Working knowledge and experience with SAP including Business Warehouse (BW), SAP S4/HANA, or similar tools
• Prior experience in aerospace, defense, federal, government, and/or manufacturing environments highly valued!
