Role Description The Fleet Team Leader at Speedaf Egypt is a full-time, on-site role based in October, responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations and ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective transportation of goods. This role includes planning vehicle schedules and routes, monitoring fleet performance, and coordinating with drivers and logistics staff to resolve operational issues. The Fleet Team Leader tracks maintenance needs, fuel usage, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, while maintaining accurate records and reports. The role also involves collaborating with customer service and operations teams to support on-time deliveries, addressing escalated issues, and guiding team members to meet service and performance targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong Supply Chain Management and Operations Management skills to oversee end-to-end fleet processes and optimize logistics performance.
  • Procurement capabilities to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and control fleet-related costs.
  • Proven Team Leadership experience to supervise drivers and operations staff, provide guidance, and promote a safe, collaborative work environment.
  • Customer Service skills to support prompt issue resolution, maintain client satisfaction, and coordinate effectively with internal teams.
  • Experience in fleet or logistics management, preferably within freight, cargo, or express delivery environments.
  • Ability to work on-site in October with strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in using logistics or fleet management systems and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
