This position serves as the central point of accountability for orchestrating complex initiatives from inception through successful completion. The role demands a strategic leader who can balance multiple competing priorities while maintaining rigorous oversight of timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable quality. Working alongside highly skilled engineering professionals, this individual will drive the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated physical distribution systems deployed across global locations. The position requires someone who can seamlessly navigate between technical details and executive-level communication, ensuring all stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the initiative lifecycle. Success in this role depends on the ability to anticipate challenges, implement proactive solutions, and maintain unwavering focus on achieving defined objectives while fostering collaboration across diverse teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all phases of initiatives from planning through implementation and closure
  • Travel on site to manage vendors working on a retrofit projects (REI's)
  • Establish realistic timelines and milestones while ensuring adherence to established schedules
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skills, availability, and priorities
  • Monitor progress continuously and identify potential roadblocks or delays before they impact delivery
  • Prepare comprehensive status reports and presentations for senior leadership
  • Lead and direct the work of team members, providing guidance and removing obstacles
  • Manage relationships with external equipment vendors, customers, and strategic partners
  • Control scope to prevent expansion beyond agreed-upon parameters
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the initiative lifecycle
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality standards and functional requirements
  • Coordinate with support teams to minimize operational disruption during implementation

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the field or related area
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex initiatives
  • Experience leading and directing the work of others
  • Background working with external vendors, customers, or partners
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology or integration initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $58.62/hour - $66.44/hour.
