Our platform gives employees fast, secure access using authentication methods such as badges, facial recognition, and other passwordless factors. The market is moving quickly in our direction. MFA mandates, zero-trust initiatives, CMMC requirements, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, cyber insurance standards, and broader security programs are pushing organizations to rethink how frontline employees authenticate.

Traditional authentication was not designed for workers who share computers, use rugged devices, operate in regulated environments, wear gloves, or cannot rely on personal mobile phones for MFA.

About the Role

OLOID is looking for a driven, resourceful, and highly competitive Business Development Representative to help us create pipeline and open doors into enterprise accounts.

This is not a role for someone who waits for opportunities to appear.

We are looking for a shark of a rep: someone who can spot an opportunity early, find a way into an account, navigate around obstacles, and keep moving until the job gets done.

You should be able to smell opportunity from a mile away. When the obvious path does not work, you find another one. You are comfortable operating without a perfect playbook, experimenting with new approaches, and taking ownership of the outcome.

You will engage IT, cybersecurity, identity, infrastructure, HR technology, and operations leaders across some of the world’s largest organizations. Your job is to identify real business problems, start valuable conversations, and turn interest into qualified sales opportunities.

This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, greenfield environment. You will work closely with Account Executives and sales leadership while helping shape how OLOID builds pipeline and scales its outbound motion.

Location

  • Hybrid position based in Sunnyvale, California
  • Expected to work from the office two days per week
  • Candidates should be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect into strategic accounts across manufacturing, healthcare, retail, logistics, aviation, construction, and other frontline industries
  • Build relationships with IT, cybersecurity, identity, infrastructure, HR technology, and operations leaders
  • Execute outbound campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Research target accounts, identify relevant business triggers, and develop creative ways to break into them
  • Qualify prospects and book high-quality meetings for the sales team
  • Manage inbound leads and convert interest into qualified pipeline opportunities
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and progress opportunities
  • Support trade shows, conferences, field events, and partner-led pipeline initiatives throughout the year
  • Test and refine messaging, targeting, sequences, and outbound strategies
  • Maintain accurate activity, account, and opportunity information within Salesforce
  • Bring urgency, creativity, competitiveness, and consistency to pipeline generation every day

What We’re Looking For

  • One to three years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales role
  • A strong desire to build a career in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, identity, or infrastructure sales
  • A competitive mindset and genuine enthusiasm for prospecting
  • The ability to recognize buying signals and pursue opportunities with urgency
  • Resourcefulness when the first approach, contact, or message does not work
  • Confidence making cold calls and engaging senior technical and business stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in a high-activity, multichannel outbound environment
  • Curiosity and the ability to learn technical concepts, industry requirements, and customer pain points
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High personal accountability and a willingness to own results
  • The ability to work independently without waiting for constant direction
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and the determination to get things done
  • Coachability and the ability to quickly apply feedback

Compensation

OLOID offers a competitive compensation package based on experience:

  • Base salary: $75,000–$85,000
  • On-target earnings: $110,000–$135,000
  • Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role

The position includes performance-based variable compensation tied to pipeline generation and meeting targets.
