We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support and optimize Carbon Monoxide distillation operations. This position is ideal for an engineering professional with a strong mechanical and/or chemical engineering background who enjoys being directly involved in plant operations, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert for Carbon Monoxide distillation processes, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation of critical production systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical expertise and day-to-day support for Carbon Monoxide distillation operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize process performance to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance oversight and troubleshooting of distillation equipment, reactors, condensers, pumps, valves, and separation systems.
• Develop and manage calibration, preventive maintenance, and asset reliability programs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, cGMP requirements, environmental regulations, and site safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance activities, process changes, SOPs, and compliance records.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of distillation, chemical processing, industrial gases, or manufacturing operations.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial process equipment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability programs, and asset management systems.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO, cGMP, PSM, and industrial safety standards is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
