Role Description The Managing Director is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, responsible for leading client engagements across capital advisory, GP solutions, and management consulting. This individual will oversee deal origination and execution, including fundraising mandates, co-investments, secondaries, restructuring projects, and strategic transactions, while maintaining strong relationships with alternative investment managers, family offices, and institutional investors. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and presenting advisory strategies, guiding portfolio operations and business transformation initiatives, and providing hands-on leadership in governance, fiduciary matters, and interim executive support when needed. The Managing Director will lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior professionals, contribute to firm-wide thought leadership, and support the growth of the Carey Brothers & Company platform through business development and partnership expansion. The role requires regular collaboration with Co-CEOs and senior stakeholders to refine service offerings and deliver high-impact, tailored solutions to clients.
