Framer Front-End Intern

de Anda Capital

United States

Description

We are a small, profitable independent sponsor working with and acquiring companies across the US. We are building an inbound marketing engine — and we are looking for a Framer design intern to grow alongside it.

This is a hands-on role. You will work directly with marketing and senior personnel, building the client-facing pages and visual systems that drive our inbound funnel. If you want to spend a summer shipping real front-end work that people actually see and truly enhances your portfolio, this is it.

What you will work on

Depending on where the team's priorities land, you might:

  • Design and build blog post layouts and landing pages in Framer from templates / scratch
  • Develop graphics, visual assets, and UI components that support our content strategy
  • Collaborate with our team to translate written content into polished, conversion-oriented page designs
  • Maintain visual consistency across our site — typography, spacing, component libraries
  • Use AI tooling to accelerate design iteration — generating layout variations, copy placeholders, image assets, and component ideas faster than a traditional workflow allows
  • Iterate quickly on feedback from partners and surface-level performance signals
  • Own a page or section end-to-end — from structure to final publish

You probably:

  • Have built real things in Framer — not demos, not tutorials, things you'd send someone a link to
  • Have a strong eye for layout, hierarchy, and typography — you notice when something is off and you know how to fix it
  • Understand the basics of how websites work (HTML/CSS fundamentals) even if you're not writing code daily
  • Are comfortable using AI tools as part of your design process — not as a crutch, but as a multiplier
  • Have some familiarity with Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools, or curiosity to learn — we may build outside Framer and you should be able to move with us if we do
  • Can take a brief and run with it — you ask one good question instead of five uncertain ones
  • Produce clean, organized work that someone else can pick up without a handoff call

You are not a fit if you:

  • Have only worked in Canva or static design tools with no web publishing experience
  • Need the brief to be fully defined before you start moving
  • Treat visual design as decoration rather than function
  • Resist using AI tooling on principle — we move fast and expect everyone on the team to use every good tool available

Process

Short intro call → brief take-home exercise → conversation with the team → offer. We move quickly.

Program structure

This engagement is performance-based with a clear path forward.

  • Phase 1 is an unpaid training period (estimated 2–3 months) as a Framer & Front-End Design Intern. You will be doing real work from day one.
  • Phase 2 is a transition to a part-time paid design role, with increased scope and defined performance benchmarks.

Conversion to a full-time paid role at de Anda Capital or an affiliated platform is offered to strong performers. Strong interns here have a clear path into the Farm Program and, for the right person, a return offer. Apply here or send a note directly.
