SAPinsider is building the global “Answer Engine for SAP”—delivering trusted answers, expert-led insights, and high-value networking experiences that help SAP professionals make better decisions and accelerate their careers.
To power this vision, we are launching a new Expert Content Services business unit and are seeking an Executive Director to lead it.
This is a high-visibility, executive leadership role responsible for building and scaling SAPinsider’s global expert network, content engine, and AI-powered answer platform (Ask SAPi). The role reports directly to the CEO and sits on the executive leadership team.
The Opportunity
This leader will act as a general manager—owning strategy, execution, team leadership, and revenue performance for a new and critical business unit. You will build the industry’s most trusted expert faculty and transform how SAP professionals access answers, insights, and peer connections.
You will combine elements of media programming, research, community building, and AI-driven content at scale—creating a “Netflix-style” expert content platform integrated into SAPinsider’s events, research, and digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the launch and performance of the Expert Content Services business unit, including Ask SAPi and the SAPinsider Experts program.
- Build and lead a global team (editorial, analysts, expert success) to deliver high-quality, AI-enabled content at scale.
- Define and operationalize the “Answer Engine” content model—mapping the top questions across SAP domains and ensuring consistent expert coverage.
- Recruit and develop an elite global faculty of SAP experts (targeting 30–50+ to start, scaling by topic area).
- Create a compelling expert value proposition, including recognition, content promotion, speaking opportunities, and monetization pathways.
- Design and execute a high-frequency content programming model (3–5 expert segments per week; 100–200 annually).
- Serve as a visible moderator and thought leader—leading expert interviews, discussions, and video sessions.
- Integrate content into Ask SAPi and SAPinsider’s AI ecosystem to drive answer quality, engagement, and lead generation.
- Partner with sales to develop and scale sponsorship and lead generation offerings tied to expert content.
- Drive revenue across premium membership, research, content services, and expert series sponsorships.
- Ensure alignment with event programming—embedding experts into agendas, sessions, and onsite experiences.
- Establish performance metrics across audience growth, engagement, content production, expert retention, and revenue.
- Build and manage budgets, including expert compensation, content production, and program marketing.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven executive leader with experience launching and scaling a business unit, product, or media/research platform.
- Deep understanding of enterprise technology, ideally SAP, ERP, cloud, data, security, and AI.
- Strong content programming instincts—ability to shape compelling expert-led discussions (similar to broadcast or digital media formats).
- Skilled interviewer and moderator who can extract actionable insights from senior practitioners.
- Experience building and managing expert, analyst, or contributor networks.
- Commercially oriented, with experience owning or influencing revenue and product monetization.
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of content, community, and technology.
- Strong operator with a “can do, will do” mindset and ownership mentality.
