Key Accountabilities :
- Maintain operational availability by participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation and providing onsite emergency support as required to ensure network stability and service continuity.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mobile core network elements (CS/PS & Volte), resolving incidents and minimizing service disruptions.
- Monitor network performance and capacity, identifying potential issues and implementing proactive measures to ensure optimal operation.
- Manage and resolve incidents, problems, and changes according to established procedures, ensuring proper escalation and closure.
- Conduct routine health checks, housekeeping tasks, and performance follow-ups to maintain the stability and efficiency of the mobile core network.
- Execute acceptance tests and validation procedures for new systems and equipment deployments, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including all technical teams/domains and vendor support, to resolve complex issues and implement network improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of support processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze network data and performance metrics to identify trends and patterns, providing insights for optimization and capacity planning.
- Apply Cybersecurity incident analysis and response to Mobile Core Network.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance the technical skills and expertise of the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mobile core technologies, including 5G, cloud computing, and virtualization.
- Utilize cloud tools and platforms to manage and monitor network resources, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation of routine tasks and troubleshooting procedures.
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in mobile core network support and operations.
