Job Description / Responsibility
Job Summary:
The Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians, and supporting overall healthcare operations. The role includes patient assessment, administering medications, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Assess patient conditions and report any changes to the physician promptly.
Medication Administration:
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and IV fluids as per doctor’s instructions.
- Ensure accurate dosage and maintain medication records.
Clinical Assistance:
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare patients for medical procedures and surgeries.
Monitoring & Observation:
- Regularly monitor patient progress and document clinical observations.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes and patient charts.
Infection Control & Safety:
- Follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and patient areas.
Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
- Provide first aid and basic life support when required.
Patient Education:
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and aftercare.
- Provide guidance on maintaining health and preventing illness.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Coordination:
- Collaborate with doctors, healthcare staff, and support teams.
- Ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma
- Bachelor/Honors
- Skills Required: Nurse
Experience Requirements
- 6 to 10 year(s)
