Key Accountabilities :

  • Incident Management: Respond swiftly and effectively to network incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Network Monitoring & Alerting: Proactively monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and configure alerts to ensure timely intervention and prevent service disruptions.
  • Change Implementation: Plan, coordinate, and execute network changes, adhering to change management procedures to minimize risk and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Configuration Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network configurations, ensuring consistency and compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Security Enforcement: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall policies, access controls, and VPN configurations, to protect the corporate network from cyber threats.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze network performance data, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve network speed, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve network issues, implement new technologies, and improve overall network performance.
  • Firewall Management: Manage and maintain firewall infrastructure, including creating, reviewing, and updating firewall policies to ensure optimal security posture.
  • Load Balancer Management: Administer and optimize load balancer configurations to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications and services.
  • IT Support: Provide support to internal IT teams regarding network related issues and implementations.

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Security engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in network operations, with a focus on IP data center and enterprise networking.
  • Associate-level certification from a recognized vendor such as Cisco (e.g., CCNA), Nokia (e.g., NRS I), Fortinet (e.g., NSE 4), or Palo Alto (e.g., PCCSA) is required.
