As part of our continued national growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Consultant – New South Wales to join our National Sales Team. While this role is based in NSW and focuses on growing our presence across the state, you will work as an integral member of our Australia-wide sales team, collaborating closely with our Victorian Head Office and internal design, estimating and project management teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and strengthen our presence throughout New South Wales by generating new business opportunities, increasing market share and developing long-term relationships across schools, councils, landscape architects, developers and other key market sectors. As adventure+'s dedicated NSW representative, you will be supported by an experienced national team while taking ownership of business development and customer relationships within your territory.

The role is ideally suited to a proactive and commercially focused professional who enjoys consultative selling, opening doors, building strategic partnerships and identifying project opportunities. Working collaboratively with colleagues across Australia, you will help clients develop innovative, customised play and recreation solutions that meet their project objectives while delivering lasting value to local communities.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

Generating new business opportunities and sales growth throughout NSW

Building and maintaining relationships with schools, councils, landscape architects, developers and other key stakeholders

Managing opportunities from initial enquiry through to project design.

Conducting client meetings, presentations and site visits

Identifying and pursuing new project opportunities

Working closely with design, estimating and project teams to develop tailored solutions for clients

Maintaining and managing a sales pipeline through the CRM system

Weekly and monthly activity reporting.

Representing the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities

This role is home-office based and requires frequent travel throughout New South Wales together with periodic visits to our Victorian Head Office for meetings, planning sessions and company events.

About You

You are a self-motivated and commercially focused professional who enjoys building relationships, developing opportunities and achieving results.

You will bring:

Proven experience in B2B business development, consultative sales or project-based selling

Strong relationship-building and networking skills

Experience managing multiple stakeholders and protracted sales cycles

The ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory

Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and sales activity

A current driver's licence

Highly Regarded

Experience selling to local government, education, construction, landscape architecture or recreation sectors

Experience working with landscape architects, developers or specification-based sales environments

Tender and project-based sales experience

Understanding of playgrounds, recreation, parks, landscape or construction industries

Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process consists of two stages:

  • Stage 1: Initial Teams interview with the HR Manager and Sales Manager.
  • Stage 2: Final face-to-face interview in Melbourne for shortlisted candidates. Flights and accommodation (where required) will be arranged and paid for by adventure +.
