Role Description This full-time Internal Sales role is based on-site in Plymouth. The Internal Sales team member will handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries, prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on opportunities to secure sales. The role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their technical and commercial needs, and recommending suitable products and services. The position involves collaborating with colleagues in sales, customer service, and operations to ensure timely delivery and high-quality service. Daily activities also include updating CRM systems, monitoring sales performance, and supporting promotional campaigns and product launches.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective listening.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Candidates should possess Sales skills, including opportunity identification, negotiation, closing, and working toward sales targets.
  • Candidates should possess Training and Sales Management skills, such as supporting the development of colleagues and contributing to sales processes and best practices.
  • Relevant experience in internal sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing role, ideally within industrial or technical products.
  • Comfort with using CRM systems, MS Office, and other sales support tools to manage customer data and sales activities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in quotations and order entry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and adapt to changing customer and business needs.
