About the Team:
The IAM Off-Highway Business Team is dedicated to accelerating sales growth and strengthening customer engagement across global markets. As a key sales enabler, the team develops and drives the structures, processes, and tools required for commercial success. This role is responsible for leading business analytics for the IAM Off-Highway SCU, providing market and customer insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.
What you can look forward to as Global Business Analyst IAM Off-Highway?
- Provide global sales, margin and profitability analytics on product and part-number level, including creation of dashboards and recommendations to improve business performance.
- Collect, structure and process business data from internal systems (e. g. BW, PBI, SAP, Navision) to support strategies and decision-making within the IAM OH business team.
- Support the development and execution of global strategies by contributing data, analyses and insights for the IAM OH business team and related workstreams.
- Analyze global sales performance and identify growth opportunities, including customer range white spots and optimization potential across product segments and customers.
- Identify and define customer-specific measures based on global customer clustering and scoring models to drive targeted business development within the IAM OH business team & regional teams.
- Develop and support customer stock proposals as part of customer-specific growth initiatives and sales optimization.
- Lead and support cross-regional alignment activities, ensuring transparency and consistency of data, KPIs and targets across regions.
- Define and improve data analytics processes, tools and standards in collaboration with functional excellence teams.
- Support pricing, market and business positioning decisions by integrating market intelligence, pricing data and competitive insights.
Your profile as Global Business Analyst IAM Off-Highway:
- Successfully completed course of advanced studies in economics or engineering.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong ability to manage and influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Several years of experience in business analyst role, ideally with long-term experience in CatMan & Sales.
- Experience in working with different ERP (e.g. SAP) and data mining systems
- (e.g. Excel and PowerBI).
- Ability to deal with heterogenous processes and products.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
- Strong negotiation and networking skills.
