Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nurse role based in Jeddah. The Nurse will provide routine and emergency medical care to employees and, when required, passengers, including assessment, basic treatment, and appropriate referrals. Daily responsibilities include conducting health checks, maintaining medical records, supporting fitness-for-duty evaluations, and promoting occupational health and safety standards. The Nurse will coordinate with aviation and ground operations teams in responding to medical incidents, follow airline and regulatory protocols, and participate in health education initiatives. The role also involves maintaining medical supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable health regulations, and contributing to a culture of safety and wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license/registration and recognized nursing qualification (e.g., diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
- Clinical experience in emergency, occupational, or general nursing, preferably in aviation, travel, or transport-related settings.
- Strong assessment, triage, and basic life support (BLS) skills; advanced life support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of occupational health practices, infection prevention and control, and documentation standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records, handling confidential information, and following regulatory guidelines.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple cases, maintain stocks of medical supplies, and respond promptly to urgent situations.
- Comfort working within multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with operations, HR, and external medical providers.
- Willingness to work on-site in Jeddah, with flexibility for shift-based schedules aligned with airline operations.
- Arabic and/or English language proficiency; additional regional languages are an asset.
