Role Description The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for young learners. This full-time, on-site role is based in Baku City and involves planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, supporting social and emotional development, and promoting foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and creativity. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing learning materials, implementing curriculum objectives, observing and documenting student progress, and maintaining effective communication with families and colleagues. The Preschool Teacher will collaborate with other educators to ensure alignment with Cambridge International School standards and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and experience working in preschool or kindergarten settings.
  • Ability to design effective Lesson Planning and contribute to Curriculum Development tailored to young learners.
  • Excellent Communication skills for engaging children, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining respectful partnerships with families.
  • Experience or familiarity with Kindergarten pedagogy and child-centered teaching approaches.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of or interest in Cambridge International School frameworks and standards.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory classroom practices.
  • Ability to maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment and manage classroom routines effectively.
