Hiring: Director-Strategy

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 5+ Years

We are looking for a Director – Strategy with strong expertise in audience analytics, consumer insights, and media strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing business and marketing challenges, translating consumer and market insights into actionable strategies, and developing audience-first media recommendations that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose business and marketing challenges and develop strategic solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Conduct audience sizing, segmentation, and profiling using syndicated and real-time data sources such as GWI, TGI, IRS, and BARC.
  • Analyze behavioral and attitudinal consumer data to uncover actionable insights.
  • Apply MRUC socio-economic classifications and Kantar Worldpanel metrics including FOC, POC, and NOP.
  • Interpret brand health studies, including mind metrics, need states, drivers, and creative diagnostics.
  • Prioritize markets using BDI/CDI and other relevant business and category indicators.
  • Evaluate macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and external market factors impacting client businesses.
  • Conduct consumer funnel diagnostics using volumetric analysis and identify opportunities across acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
  • Define SMART KPIs aligned with business and marketing objectives.
  • Develop integrated audience frameworks to guide media planning teams.
  • Recommend media channels based on audience insights, business objectives, and multiple data sources.
  • Define the role of media across different stages of the consumer journey.

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+years of experience in strategic planning, media planning, audience planning, or consumer insights within an agency or consulting environment.
  • Hands-on experience with audience measurement and research tools such as GWI, TGI, IRS, BARC, and Kantar Worldpanel.
  • Experience working with FMCG, retail, telecom, or other consumer-focused brands.
  • Strong understanding of brand planning, consumer journey mapping, and marketing effectiveness frameworks.
