About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing operational data, generating insightful reports, and identifying opportunities for process improvements within our logistics network. Your work will directly impact our ability to meet customer expectations by ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with quality leadership and operations teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and operational performance.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should have at least 1 year of professional experience in data analysis, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with complex Excel VBA macros, SQL, Python, and Tableau is highly desirable. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 49 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and bending. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze large datasets are essential. Preferred qualifications include 2 or more years of experience with data analysis tools and a proven track record of using data to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily and weekly SOX reporting, ensuring thorough documentation of findings, identifying escalation points, and proposing corrective actions to leadership.
  • Conduct ad hoc research by analyzing large datasets within the data warehouse to identify operational trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute regular SQL reports using Amazon’s data warehouse, sharing insights via email, Amazon Quicksight, or Excel dashboards.
  • Participate in warehouse operations tasks to gather real-time data, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven solutions and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the quality leadership team to identify defects, improve standards, and enhance overall operational quality.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational metrics, identifying root causes, and recommending effective solutions.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders effectively.
  • Exercise sound judgment and exercise proactive measures to escalate issues or challenges that could impact delivery timelines or quality standards.
