LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH 6.5-10.5 YEARS OF B2B TECH PR AGENCY EXPERERIENCE, WHO ALREADY HAVE SOME DIRECTOR EXPERIENCE UNDER THEIR BELT. (If you have been an Account Director for a while, they are open to hiring you as a Senior Account Director)
About the Agency
This is a highly respected globally renowned agency with well known and fascinating globally known tech clients, the agency has been continually growing year on year, and they also have a 100% retention rate over the past 2 years!
For this role in particular, you would be working in their NYC based office which is approx 20 people, so the best of both worlds as you will have a tight nit feel but still be working on globally backed clients, and benefit from the robust infrastructure of the agency and their many offices.
About the Ideal Candidate
- MUST have a strong foundation with B2B PR experience
- 6.5-10.5 years of PR experience including experience as an Account Director (depending on experience you may be brought on as a Senior Account Director)
- Must have strong B2B tech experience (exp. AI, fintech, deep tech such as semi conductors, Quantum computing etc)
- Enjoy working with highly technical and innovative B2B tech clients
- Experience developing high-level strategy and messaging for clients, and enjoy strategic work
- Has strong reporter relationships especially across top tier publications
- Background in earned media and highly experience with media relations
- The ability to manage 4-6 account teams and ensure account targets and client expectations are consistently exceeded
- A willingness to use new technologies within workflows to their greatest impact
- A desire to participate actively in new business and agency marketing activity and the ability to demonstrate previous success in these areas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Someone who enjoys innovation and pushing boundaries in the world of tech
- Be in NYC based office 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
- Bonus points-if you have IPO experience (though not required)
