For our Sea Logistics team in Antwerp, we are looking for a motivated Operational Care Specialist who takes ownership of the full operational import process for sea freight shipments, from arrival coordination and customs clearance to final delivery and invoicing. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring compliant, efficient, and high-quality transport solutions for our customers.

How you create impact

• Scheduling and handling of FCL shipments in coordination with colleagues from Customer Service
• Import customs clearance in the ATLAS and NCTS procedure
• Communication with shipping companies for the release and disposal of import shipments
• Organization of shipment acceptance at the ports of destination
• Follow-up scheduling and documentation with transport companies
• Ensuring compliance with credit limit guidelines and data quality
• Analysis and ensuring effective and economical handling of transports

What we would like you to bring

• Background in freight forwarding, gained through relevant studies, work experience, or ideally a combination of both
• Experience in sea freight is preferred, ideally in import
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep an overview, manage workload effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• A performance-driven and ambitious mindset, combined with strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of working
• Fluency in English, Dutch skills are a plus
