DisruptiX Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-established construction-related organization in Yorba Linda that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing high-volume payroll with accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for approximately 200–215 employees accurately and on schedule
- Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and company policies
- Work within the company's payroll system (Midar) and interface with Sage Intacct
- Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation
- Assist with payroll reporting and audits as needed
- Partner with accounting and operations to support payroll-related activities
- Help support payroll during the company's busy summer season
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience
- Experience processing multi-employee payroll in a high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
- Experience with Midar is a plus, but not required
- Construction, union payroll, or certified payroll experience is preferred but not required

- Location: Yorba Linda, CA
- Schedule: Full-time, 100% onsite
- Hours: Flexible start time (8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM)
- Contract Duration: Open-ended
