Position Overview
The Executive Assistant will play a critical role in supporting Vendor Connect’s operational workflows, maintaining financial organization, managing digital presence, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day execution. This role requires someone who is tech‑savvy, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to streamline processes, coordinate schedules, manage online platforms, and maintain accurate financial records. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management — Support bookkeeping, expense tracking, invoice management, and financial organization.
- Social Media Management — Plan, schedule, and publish content; assist with engagement; support basic graphic design needs.
- Website Management — Update website content, maintain functionality, and coordinate with external vendors when needed.
- Scheduling & Coordination — Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and ensure timely communication.
- Administrative Support — Handle email organization, document preparation, research tasks, and general operational support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is resourceful, self‑directed, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. They should be able to anticipate needs, solve problems quickly, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Experience with bookkeeping and financial organization
- Experience in social media management; familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva)
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable learning new tools and systems
Tools & Platforms
Experience with all is not required, but familiarity is a plus:
- Bookkeeping software
- Social media scheduling tools
- Canva or similar design platforms

- Google Workspace / Microsoft 365
Contract Details
- Full‑time: 40 hours per week
- 1099 contractor role
- Fully remote
- Reports directly to the Managing Director
