Position Summary

We are looking for a driven and analytically minded individual to join our trading team at RWS Group as a Trader. In this position you will execute equity and fixed income orders on behalf of advisors while helping implement our internally developed model strategies — with a focus on achieving best execution across multiple venues. This is a hands-on, on-site role built for someone eager to develop deep markets expertise and grow toward a career in investment analysis, supported by a clear path and CFA sponsorship.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute client orders across equities and fixed income instruments
• Implement model-driven strategies across client accounts in a timely and accurate manner
• Monitor order flow and market conditions in real time throughout the trading day
• Assist in trade reconciliation, post-trade reporting, and error resolution
• Support senior traders in refining execution and model implementation workflows
• Maintain compliance with FINRA, SEC, and internal risk guidelines
• Contribute to TCA (transaction cost analysis) reviews and reporting
• Additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in trading, capital markets, or a financial services role
• SIE and Series 7 licensed (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Strong working knowledge of equity market structure and order types
• High proficiency in Excel; experience with YCharts is a plus
• Genuine interest in progressing toward an investment analyst role
• Commitment to pursuing the CFA designation
• Exceptional attention to detail and composure under pressure
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
