We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support promotional planning, pricing, and assortment initiatives across multiple retail categories. This role will partner closely with merchants and cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making, optimize promotional performance, and support key supplier funding and contract processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze promotional performance and provide actionable recommendations to support future planning and business grow
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports related to promotions, pricing, assortment, and sales performance
  • Support promotional planning activities by leveraging historical sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and improve outcomes
  • Partner with merchants and category teams to evaluate promotional effectiveness and optimize future events
  • Assist in the management and administration of supplier funding agreements, promotional contracts, and related documentation
  • Perform data mining, trend analysis, and business reporting to support strategic decision-making
  • Support several large-scale promotional events throughout the year, providing analytical insights before, during, and after executives
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to improve processes, systems, and reporting capabilities
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • rCollaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, finance, operations, and other business partners to support organizational goals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • ce.4–6 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, merchandising, retail operations, e-commerce, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, reporting, and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets
  • Experience performing data mining, trend analysis, and business reporting
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • lStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating business needs into actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within retail, consumer products, grocery, merchandising, or e-commerce environments
  • Familiarity with promotional planning, pricing strategies, assortment planning, or category management
  • Experience supporting supplier funding programs, vendor agreements, or promotional contracts
  • Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and reporting tools
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders.
