To strengthen our Technology function within Kelvion, we are looking for:

Expert in Thermodynamics (m/f/d)

We're seeking an engineering talent to join our site in Herne to drive our Technology function and help shape the future of the heat exchanger industry. Our promise: we'll give you comprehensive training for the right start into your job and support you every step of the way in our company.

What you will be responsible for:

• Develop thermodynamic models and algorithms for sizing heat exchangers
• Determine characteristics properties of heat exchangers based on thermo-hydraulic measurements as input data for your models
• Support development projects with your expertise in thermodynamics
• Design and evaluation of experiments (NH3/CO2)
• Suggest improvements to our lab capabilities targeting better precision of your calculations

About you:

• Master's degree or PhD in thermodynamics, physics or mechanical engineering, with profound knowledge in thermodynamics, heat transfer and two-phase processes
• 3-5 years of experience with fin heat exchangers preferred
• Knowledge in production technology / manufactory
• A structured way of resolving technical challenges effectively
• Programming experience
• Fluent in English, B-level German language skills, preferably C-level or fluent
• Readiness to travel
