The Role
CPA Kudos Greece is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager to join our growing professional services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional to lead engagements, mentor team members, and contribute to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee audit engagements from inception to completion.
- Lead and supervise audit teams, ensuring adherence to professional standards and firm methodologies.
- Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Assess internal controls and identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact during engagements.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to audit staff.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, auditing, and regulatory requirements.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the firm's growth objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-8 years of external and tax audit experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of Greek GAAP, IFRS, ISA, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Greek and English language).
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
