Application Engineer

Position Details

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support Fircosoft or NICE Actimize solutions.
• Implement and maintain Sanctions Screening, Transaction Screening, and Payment Screening processes.
• Work on Watchlist Filtering, OFAC screening, and AML compliance initiatives.
• Configure screening rules, workflows, alerts, and filtering mechanisms.
• Collaborate with business, compliance, and technology teams to enhance financial crime prevention capabilities.
• Analyze and resolve production issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of IT experience with strong exposure to Fircosoft or NICE Actimize.
• Hands-on experience in:
• Sanctions Screening
• Transaction Screening
• Payment Screening
• Watchlist Filtering
• AML / Financial Crime Compliance
• Good understanding of OFAC, PEP, and sanctions regulations.
• Experience with Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, XML, or APIs is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Compliance domains is preferred.
