Functional Responsibilities
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba implementation and integration.
- Design, configure, and manage SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) pipelines to integrate SAP Ariba modules (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance) with SAP ERP systems.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize middleware integrations to automate master and transactional data flows.
- Manage critical business transactions, including Purchase Orders (POs), Order Confirmations, Goods Receipts (GRs), and Invoices.
- Monitor integration queues, map custom fields, identify data bottlenecks, and resolve transmission errors.
- Lead and support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) prior to deployment.
- Support cutover activities, go-live execution, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Provide functional expertise and guidance on SAP Ariba CIG best practices and standard integration processes.
Integration & Technical Collaboration
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver integrations between:
- SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
- SAP Ariba and third-party/non-SAP systems
- Support integration testing, data validation, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP Ariba CIG, middleware technologies (APIs, IDOCs, Proxies), and XML/XSD structures.
Documentation & Support
Prepare and maintain the following project deliverables:
- Functional and technical design documents
- Configuration workbooks
- Test scripts and training materials
- User training and knowledge transfer documentation
- Change requests and minor system enhancements
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
- Strong expertise in SAP Ariba CIG configuration and integration.
- Experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Ariba functional modules and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to global implementations or multi-country rollout projects.
- SAP Ariba CIG Certification is an advantage.
