Chief Of Staff/Senior Executive Assistant

We are pleased to have been retained by our client, a Principle who currently has multiple holdings across several Businesses, Entities and Industries spanning global jurisdictions in his share for a Chief of Staff. This is a newly created position.

His Chief of Staff’s main purpose is to make the Principles “business/world” more efficiently. This is crucial, pivotal role in the continued evolution of his entities which would include, Investment and Asset Management Business, Extensive Real Estate Portfolio, and Private Family Offices.

Interestingly, this firm is very much still in its build phrase. Therefore, we are seeking a seasoned, entrepreneurial, yet extremely organised Chief of Staff to undertake the following duties, whilst being comfortable with travel and the ability to speak several languages. This candidate most be polished, worldly and well connected, combined with the structure, organisation and attention detailed derived from years of working with the challenging diary and schedule of a globally based principle.

You will also manage a Chief Staff Office of 3-4 individuals.

Duties:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Supporting the Principle developing and implementing strategic priorities.
  • Translating high-level vision into actionable goals and KPIs.
  • Tracking progress and ensuring accountability across departments.

Operations & Project Management

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring efficiency across functions.
  • Leading cross-departmental projects and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Coordinating resources to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.

Executive Support & Advisory

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership.
  • Preparing briefing documents, board papers and presentations.
  • Representing the CEO at meetings and functions that they cannot attend.
  • Managing sensitive information and providing data-driven insights for decision-making.

Stakeholder Management

  • Acting as a point of contact for the groups multiple and principle CEO, investors and key external partners.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across internal teams.
  • Representing the executive team in meetings when required.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Managing or mentoring junior staff, EAs or project managers.
  • Assisting human resources with the hiring and onboarding of new employees.
  • Promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Communication & Alignment

  • Ensuring consistent communication between leadership and wider teams.
  • Drafting executive communications, internal updates and strategic announcements.
  • Driving alignment across departments on business priorities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a senior operation, strategic or leadership role, preferably with 7+ years of experience.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial drivers, market dynamics and organisational priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage and lead teams across different departments.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to work closely with executives and influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability and desire to travel, where required
  • Events & hospitality management expertise
  • Accustomed to being in “wealthy environment”
  • High level of discretion and professionalism, with proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Ideally, significant exposure to one of the following sectors with exposure to the Hospitality/Travel/Luxury Good Industries.

  • Global investment management
  • Alternative investment firms
  • Venture capital (VC)
  • Ultra-high net-worth family offices
  • Cultural Aware, as this role support business, CEO who are based globally

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, economics or a related field.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in management consulting or a senior strategic role.
  • Bonus: MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
