The Role
As an HR Business Partner, you'll act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering closely with operations to deliver strategic and hands-on HR support. You'll play a key role in shaping the employee experience while ensuring compliance, performance, and workforce effectiveness across your assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Partner with business leaders on all People & Culture matters across multiple operational projects
✅ Drive workforce planning, organizational structure, staffing, and manpower requirements
✅ Lead performance management processes, including mid-year and year-end reviews
✅ Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, salary changes, and mobilization/demobilization planning
✅ Provide expert guidance on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and Uzbekistan Labor Law
✅ Ensure HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements are implemented consistently
✅ Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture
✅ Monitor HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, overtime, and workforce analytics
✅ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HSSE, Payroll, and other stakeholders to support business objectives
✅ Champion change management and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
✔ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
✔ CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent HR certification is an advantage
✔ 5–7+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner within a complex, matrix organization
✔ Strong knowledge of Uzbekistan Labor Law and HR best practices
✔ Experience supporting operational or project-based environments (energy, construction, manufacturing, industrial, EPC, or similar)
✔ Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
✔ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
✔ Excellent communication skills in English and Uzbek (Russian is an advantage)
