Production Manager(High Potential)

Analytical People Manager building a World Class Manufacturing environment together with the team.

Role & Mission

As a key member of our production organization, you combine operational leadership with strong analytical and strategic capabilities. You ensure that people, processes and performance continuously improve.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the daily production operations while further developing a high-performing and mature manufacturing organization.
  • Coaching and developing team leaders and operators towards a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Analysing production and performance data and translating insights into concrete optimization projects.
  • Taking a leading role in Saint-Gobain's World Class Manufacturing (WCM) programme and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identifying structural improvement opportunities in safety, quality, productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and HR to successfully deliver improvement projects.
  • Participating as a member of the Management Team in the company's strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the corporate headquarters in Paris.
  • Presenting and defending monthly operational results and KPIs to senior management.
  • Managing and monitoring part of the operational budget while actively contributing to the achievement of business objectives.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach.
  • Hands-on problem solver with a critical and improvement-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • A collaborative leader who inspires people across departments to improve every single day.
