We’re looking for Freelance Transcribers to join our growing team at Dals!

As a transcriber, you’ll provide live remote transcription, and your work will support essential sectors such as healthcare, legal, public services, and community support.

What will you do?

• Provide live remote transcription for hearings by joining sessions via Microsoft Teams
• Producing real-time, highly accurate, full verbatim transcripts
• Maintain high linguistic quality under time pressure
• Produce accurate legal/hearing transcripts within a strict 5 working day turnaround from the end of each hearing, in line with contractual SLA requirements
• Availability for scheduled hearings (often time-sensitive)
• Your personal equipment required
• Ability to record hearings where required, including: GDPR-compliant handling and secure storage and confirmed destruction post-assignment

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Excellent command of English and/or other languages

✔ Strong listening and comprehension skills

✔ Fast and accurate typing

✔ High attention to detail

✔ Ability to follow instructions and formatting rules

✔ Right to work

✔ Previous transcription experience is an advantage

✔Extra accreditations are more than welcome: BIVR, NCRA or other recognized legal transcription, court reporting, or stenography qualifications.
