WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: Build Your Career on Our Standalone Transformation).
- While combining a strong business understanding with sustainability expertise, you integrate ESG and regulatory requirements into Procurement processes and supplier management, ensuring a business-oriented and practical as well as consistent operational execution and implementation.
- You coordinate ESG and compliance activities, translate regulatory requirements into actionable procurement practices, and support compliance reporting.
- Acting as a key interface, you manage and align diverse stakeholder expectations (e.g. Business, Sustainability, Controlling, Compliance) and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- You take ownership of ESG-related platforms such as EcoVadis, Trustbase, and SUSY, continuously improving tools, processes, and data flows.
- Together with colleagues from Procurement, R&D, and Compliance, you contribute to decarbonization initiatives and ensure audit-ready, transparent reporting.
- Sustainability matters to you: you prepare, validate, and manage ESG data, ensuring high data quality standards and reliable evidence for reporting outputs.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- completed university degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
- several years of professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or ESG/Compliance-related roles
- strong business acumen combined with solid expertise in ESG topics within Procurement, regulatory requirements, supplier governance, and data/process management
- proven digital mindset with a focus on leveraging modern technologies and AI solutions
- very good English language skills as well as confident use of SAP and MS Office applications
- strong communication and collaboration skills, combined with an analytical mindset, reliability, and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
