Our platforms, MOSAIC and TCMS, process real-time events, high volumes of data, and mission-critical workflows used by logistics operators every day.

We're looking for an Engineering Manager who can lead engineers, drive delivery, and remain close enough to the code to make a meaningful technical contribution.

The Role

You'll lead one to two product teams and operate as part of a product leadership triad alongside a Product Manager and Product Designer.

You'll work closely with the CTO to improve delivery flow, remove blockers, strengthen engineering practices, and ensure teams ship valuable product reliably. Key elements of the role are:

Lead Delivery

• Own sprint planning, prioritisation, retrospectives and execution
• Improve flow, predictability and team effectiveness
• Surface risks early and remove delivery friction

Build and Grow Teams

• Lead, coach and develop engineers
• Run performance conversations and career development discussions
• Hire exceptional talent and build a high-performing culture

Stay Technically Credible

• Contribute meaningful code across Elixir/Phoenix and React/TypeScript
• Support architectural decisions and complex technical problem-solving
• Review code thoughtfully, including AI-generated code

Own Operational Health

• Drive production readiness, observability and reliability
• Manage technical debt strategically
• Improve monitoring, incident response and on-call experience

Lead in an AI-Enabled Environment

• Champion practical use of coding agents and AI-assisted development
• Establish standards for responsible AI usage
• Help shape how AI capabilities are embedded within our products

What We're Looking For

We're interested in engineering leaders who combine strong people leadership with genuine technical depth.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 2–3+ years leading engineers directly
• Hands-on experience building production systems
• Full-stack capability across backend and frontend technologies
• Experience with distributed, event-driven or data-intensive platforms
• A track record of improving team delivery and execution
• Strong coaching, hiring and performance management skills
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools

Bonus Points

• Commercial Elixir/Phoenix experience
• Logistics, supply chain or operational technology experience
• Ownership of on-call, reliability or platform health
• Scaling-stage company experience
