YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Country General Manager and working closely with the Leadership Team, you will lead the development and execution of the country's Public Affairs strategy. You will strengthen relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, support policy-shaping initiatives, and help create an environment that enables better patient access to medicines and vaccines.

You will also play a key role in strengthening Swixx Biopharma's reputation and positioning as a trusted healthcare partner within the local healthcare ecosystem.

Healthcare Policy & Public Affairs

  • Develop and execute impactful Public Affairs strategies aligned with country priorities and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with health authorities, policymakers, scientific societies, trade associations, payers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and influence healthcare policy developments that impact patient access and the broader healthcare environment.
  • Act as a trusted external representative of the company in interactions with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Patient Access & Advocacy

  • Support initiatives that improve disease awareness, early engagement, and recognition of unmet patient needs.
  • Drive Public Affairs plans for priority therapeutic areas, including Rare Diseases and Hematology/Oncology.
  • Collaborate with patient organizations and advocacy groups in line with company policies and compliance standards.

Corporate Reputation & Communications

  • Develop and implement initiatives that strengthen the company's reputation and visibility.
  • Support corporate communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Contribute to ESG and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and partnerships.
  • Support issue management and crisis communications, acting as a company spokesperson when required and aligned with local leadership.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Legal, Compliance, and Leadership Teams.
  • Align public affairs activities with corporate priorities and partner company objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and shared purpose across internal and external stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

Education

  • University degree in Health Sciences, Public Relations, Communications, Political Sciences, or a related field.
  • Additional business education is considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Policy Shaping, or Market Access roles with a proven track record of delivering successful public affairs strategies.
  • Alternatively, significant experience in senior Commercial, Marketing, or Market Access positions.

Expertise & knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the local healthcare environment, healthcare policy, reimbursement processes, and patient access landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with senior external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of medical, commercial, legal, financial, and market access dynamics.
  • Experience in media relations, corporate communications, and crisis management is an advantage.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and excellent English proficiency.
  • Valid driving license.
