THE·TEAM New York office is looking for a sharp, culture-obsessed Copywriter to join its team. They will drive tone of voice and creative copywriting for brand social channels for a big spirit account. The role will mainly be focused on developing a variety of evergreen and campaign content ideas for the brand’s social & digital channels and beyond, from the concepting phase to the executional phase, as well as writing copy and scripts for social content and client-facing presentations.
What You’ll Do
Above everything, you’re an amazing writer who’s tapped into culture. But in the internet sense. You’re just as comfortable writing meme captions and as you are an inspiring brand manifesto. You’re a stickler for the rules when it’s called for but you also know when to let go when the idea calls for it You know how to follow brand guidelines and also push outside of the box when called for. As a social native, you instinctively know the kinds of ideas that will fly in-feed and have a knack for expressing them in ways that clients love – both in decks and in meetings. You know how to think small and nimble, as well as big and bold, and you’re equally happy doing both. You’re comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, across multiple projects, chipping in wherever needed. No ask is too small or too big for you.
You ask questions, you are curious, you take direction well, and you are open to trying new things. Your day-to-day work will include working with an Art Director and Jr. teams, Content Creators and Designers to create assets across multiple platforms for our client. You will also have the support of a Creative Director.
Who You Are
Base salary range: $70 - 75K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
