What Your Work Will Look Like:

Organic Content Creation

  • Plan, film, and edit content for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, owning the process from concept to final post
  • Build and maintain an editorial calendar that balances trending content, evergreen brand content, and product-focused pieces
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, sounds, and formats, and move quickly to capitalize on them while they're still relevant
  • Serve as the primary on-camera talent for the brand, building a recognizable presence that audiences associate with Craftmix
  • Continuously refine content style based on what's performing, not just what's trending

Creative Strategy Collaboration

  • Film and edit content specifically built for paid distribution across Meta, Snapchat, and Google
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director on creative strategy, contributing ideas, recommendations, and feedback for both organic and paid content
  • Bring fresh concepts and creative angles to brainstorms based on trend awareness and what's resonating with the audience
  • Develop multiple creative variations per concept to support testing (different hooks, formats, lengths, and calls to action)
  • Understand the difference between content built to perform organically versus content built to convert in a paid environment, and film accordingly

Integrated Marketing Support

  • Support email and SMS marketing efforts by contributing creative ideas and helping brief campaigns, without owning execution
  • Help translate what's resonating on social into ideas for email and SMS content, keeping messaging consistent across channels
  • Stay familiar with how email and SMS performance connects to broader marketing goals, even though day-to-day execution sits with the Marketing Director

Social Growth

  • Own the growth of engagement, reach, and following across all social platforms
  • Set and track growth benchmarks, and adjust content strategy based on what's actually moving those numbers
  • Build genuine community engagement, not just follower count, through comments, replies, and audience interaction

Creative Testing and Data Analysis

  • Work alongside the Marketing Director to run structured creative tests across organic content and livestreams
  • Compile and analyze social media performance data, and translate that data into clear takeaways the team can act on
  • Confidently read and present analytics from TikTok Analytics and Meta Business Suite, covering metrics like reach, engagement, follower growth, and audience behavior
  • Use data, not instinct alone, to inform what content gets made next, and be able to explain that reasoning clearly to the team
  • Distinguish between content that drives engagement and content that drives actual purchases, and prioritize accordingly

Live Hosting

  • Host livestreams on behalf of Craftmix to generate revenue, entertain the audience, and grow following
  • Track and report on live performance including revenue generated, peak viewers, and audience growth during and after each stream
  • Continuously improve live format and pacing based on what keeps viewers engaged and buying

Additional Responsibilities

  • Take on any other social media or digital marketing initiatives that support the growth and profitability of Craftmix

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience creating and managing organic social content for a brand, or as an established creator, with measurable results
  • A portfolio demonstrating full ownership of content creation: planning, filming, and editing, start to finish
  • A proven track record of growing a social media following, supported by real metrics (follower growth, reach, engagement rate)
  • Equally important, a proven track record of creating content that drives purchases and conversions, not just views or likes. Be ready to speak to specific examples
  • Live hosting or live selling experience, with the ability to speak to concrete results such as revenue generated, peak concurrent viewers, and audience growth
  • Genuine comfort and confidence being the face of a brand on camera, consistently and at a high frequency
  • Strong fluency in social media analytics, including the ability to read performance data across platforms, identify what's working and what isn't, and clearly explain the "why" behind a recommendation
  • Familiarity with how paid platforms like Meta, Snapchat, and Google perform creatively, enough to inform strong recommendations even without hands-on campaign management
  • Some familiarity with email and SMS marketing, enough to contribute ideas and support campaign briefs even without hands-on execution
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut
  • Experience running structured creative tests (hook testing, format testing, A/B variations) and applying the learnings to future content
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and strategy clearly to a director or leadership team
  • A true team player who works well with others and collaborates easily across the marketing team
  • Open and receptive to feedback, able to take direction on content and creative without taking it personally, and apply it quickly
  • Highly organized, able to manage an editorial calendar and multiple ongoing projects without things slipping
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and trends move quickly

Nice to Have

  • Background in CPG, beverage, or DTC e-commerce
  • Experience with Klaviyo or similar email/SMS platforms
