We are seeking an experienced “Legal Counsel” to provide strategic legal advisory services to senior management and effectively manage all legal processes of the company at both strategic and operational levels.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited university Law School
- Minimum 20 years of professional legal experience
- Advanced knowledge and extensive experience in Commercial Law, Labor Law, Law of Obligations, Bankruptcy and Enforcement Law, as well as Family and Civil Law
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, corporate governance, and company structuring processes
- Experienced in General Assembly and Board of Directors meeting procedures, with strong negotiation, communication, and representation skills
- Proven experience in managing litigation, enforcement proceedings, and legal disputes from initiation through conclusion
- Experienced in legal risk management, internal control, and compliance processes
- Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and interpreting contracts
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic corporate environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage all legal processes of the company at both strategic and operational levels
- Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to the Board of Directors and senior management
- Draft, review, negotiate, and evaluate contracts and legal documentation
- Proactively identify legal risks and develop preventive action plans
- Provide legal opinions and manage processes related to legal, financial, administrative, and criminal matters within the company
- Follow up and conclude all litigation, enforcement proceedings, and legal applications filed by or against the company
- Regularly report legal developments and ongoing processes to senior management
- Monitor changes in legislation and inform management regarding legal developments affecting the company
- Support and enhance corporate compliance and governance processes
- Ensure that company operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and corporate governance principles
- Handle and oversee matters related to Family and Civil Law when required within the scope of company and shareholder affairs
