Guidewire ClaimCenter Technical Lead

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across end-to-end implementations, ensure scalable and secure architecture, and drive best practices across the claims technology landscape within the P&C insurance domain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead end-to-end Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations and enhancements, ensuring delivery of scalable and secure solutions

• Design and implement robust application architectures aligned with business objectives

• Architect and develop ClaimCenter configurations, customizations, and integrations with internal and external systems

• Oversee integration development using web services and enterprise technologies (J2EE stack, XML, JDBC, etc.)

• Mentor and support development teams, conducting code reviews and enforcing development standards

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate claims requirements into technical solutions

• Lead cloud migration, implementation, or maintenance of Guidewire ClaimCenter Cloud environments where applicable

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols

• Continuously evaluate application performance, reliability, and scalability

• Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for complex production issues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

• 8–14+ years of IT experience with strong background in software/application engineering

• Proven experience leading at least two end-to-end Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations

• Strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration, data model extensions, and integration frameworks

• Experience with J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, XML, ANT, Web services)

• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter Cloud migration, implementation, or maintenance (2–3+ years preferred)

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture design and system lifecycle management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• ACE Certified Guidewire ClaimCenter Cloud Architect or relevant Guidewire technical certification

• Experience in commercial or P&C insurance domain

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring developers

• Exposure to Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter integrations

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWSKEY SKILLS

• Guidewire ClaimCenter architecture and configuration

• GOSU scripting and Guidewire Studio

• Enterprise integration patterns and API development

• Cloud deployment and lifecycle management

• Technical leadership and team mentoring

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS

• Serve as the technical authority for ClaimCenter initiatives

• Drive architectural decisions and promote reusable, scalable design

• Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices

• Act as primary escalation point for complex technical challenges
