About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Adult Trainer to design and deliver an introductory seminar in Practical Electronics as part of Odyssea's program. The course is aimed at adult learners with no prior background in electronics, and focuses on building foundational theoretical and hands-on skills in a supportive, accessible learning environment.

The seminar comprises approximately 40 hours of in-person instruction delivered in Athens. Compensation is provided on an invoice basis.

What You'll Do

  • Design and deliver an introductory curriculum in Practical Electronics tailored to adult beginners
  • Break down complex concepts into accessible, jargon-free content suitable for zero-experience learners
  • Lead hands-on, lab-based sessions with a strong emphasis on safety and practical application
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of adult participants
  • Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback throughout the seminar

What You'll Need

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering (University or Technological Institute), or equivalent technical qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in adult education and training
  • EOPPEP certification is considered a strong additional asset
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners starting from scratch
  • Strong emphasis on practical/laboratory instruction and workplace safety
  • Very good command of the English language (all instruction delivered in English)
