As the highest skilled Lighting position, he must maintain a balance between artistic vision and technical feasibility on any event. Possess creative lighting concepts based on the theme, venue, or brand guidelines.
Demonstrates strong technical capability in operating and programming GrandMA2 and/or GrandMA3 lighting control consoles, including show file management, cue programming, patching, and live show execution.
Provides technical leadership in video production and camera operations, including setup, configuration, and live operation of video cameras for events, productions, and internal documentation requirements.
Oversees and ensures proper execution of camera framing, shot composition, and live shot coordination, supporting high-quality event coverage and production standards.
Conducts and supports professional photography requirements, including event documentation, technical reference photography, and production-related imaging as needed.
Monitoring and enforcing AVL safety practices (rigging, power, cable management)
Training new technicians on equipment use and safety protocols
Creating basic technical layouts and signal flow diagrams for events
Managing and scheduling a team of audio, video, and lighting technicians
Overseeing day-to-day AVL operations across all event and entertainment spaces
Serving as the primary technical liaison for VIP clients, headliners, and production companies
Supporting diversity, inclusion, and professional growth within the department
Setting performance metrics and conducting Technical Operator evaluations
Approving technical plans, run-of-shows, and production schedules for high-profile events
Participating in executive meetings to align technical capabilities with business goals

Educational Requirement:
College Diploma of Technical or Managerial in nature.
Training Certificates on Management and Communication or Staff Administration
Experience Requirement:
Proven experience in operating and programming GrandMA2 and/or GrandMA3 lighting consoles, preferably in a live entertainment, hotel, casino, or large venue environment.
Strong background in video camera operations, including shot framing, exposure control, camera movement techniques, and production shot execution.
Working knowledge and practical experience in photography, including composition, lighting fundamentals, and professional documentation standards for events and technical reference.
Proficiency in event management, including planning and equipment assessment.
Deep understanding of AVL Technology and the ability to stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
