Accountant

Position Summary

This appointee is responsible for executing daily accounting operations for assigned business units, including intercompany transactions, AR, AP, fixed assets and month-end closing. The position supports the preparation of management reports, financial analysis, budgets and forecasts, while also assisting with audit, tax and statutory filings. The role actively participates in system enhancement projects and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting duties, including intercompany, AR, AP, fixed assets, accruals and month-end closing, for assigned business units
• Prepare management reports and various financial analysis for management review
• Assist in annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly review PowerPoint presentations
• Oversee accounts receivable aging and implement follow-up procedures to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts
• Assist in audit, tax and other statutory filings in full compliance with group standards and accounting standards
• Actively participate in system integration and enhancement projects
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience working in an MNC
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, proactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
