Job Overview

Oversees the performance of multiple retail locations to ensure they meet or exceed customer service standards, sales goals, profitability targets, operational procedures, and merchandising objectives. The District Manager is directly responsible for driving sales performance, managing profit margins, overseeing payroll, and controlling expenses across their assigned district. This role ensures the successful execution of company initiatives and programs while fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture.

The District Manager is responsible for developing strong store leadership teams by ensuring new hires possess the necessary skills and experience and that store managers effectively train and develop team members through required training programs. This position sets the standard for operational excellence, customer service, and employee engagement through leadership and example.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully complete all required training within 180 days of onboarding
  • Ensure assigned stores meet or exceed budgeted sales goals
  • Drive sales performance through effective execution of company programs and initiatives
  • Monitor key retail performance metrics and develop action plans to improve results where needed
  • Manage controllable expenses to maximize profitability
  • Increase customer acquisition and retention through exceptional customer service standards and team development
  • Ensure consistent execution of operational, merchandising, and customer experience initiatives across all locations
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing store leadership teams
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, identify opportunities, and support operational excellence

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in a multi-unit retail environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and operational goals
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Excellent references from supervisors, peers, and direct reports
  • Relocation flexibility is helpful but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
