Role Description The Writer role at JUFBC is a full-time, on-site position based in Comilla. The Writer will develop clear, engaging content for club publications, social media, and event materials, focusing on finance, banking, and economic topics relevant to students. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching assigned themes, drafting and revising articles, collaborating with club leadership to plan content, and ensuring all materials align with the club’s objectives and standards. The Writer will attend meetings, contribute ideas for new initiatives, and support the communication needs of events, campaigns, and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing abilities, with a capacity to produce clear, structured, and engaging content in en_US.
- Interest in finance, banking, economics, or related fields, and willingness to research and learn about these topics.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with student leaders and project teams on-site.
- Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple writing assignments and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with basic office and online collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, shared documents, email, and social platforms).
- Commitment to gender-neutral, inclusive, and non-discriminatory language and practices in all written materials.
- Current student or graduate with a background in finance, banking, economics, business, English, or a related discipline is preferred.
