Description

The Supply Planner position is a key role within our strategic plan for the Marcolin USA Supply Chain. An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Global Supply Chain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with HQ, Asia teams, internal offices, and suppliers to confirm production and shipping schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of all purchase orders.
  • Communicate priority shipping requirements to suppliers to support sales optimization and customer demand.
  • Approve shipping methods for finished goods, cases and component parts in collaboration with Sales and global manufacturing partners.
  • Monitor supplier KPI performance and partner with the MASIA team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and communicate product and material availability risks.
  • Cases Management, analyze requirements, ensure forecast is maintained and approve case purchases.
  • Provide regular supply status updates and shipment tracking visibility across all sales channels.
  • Maintain and update master data, ensuring accurate system planning parameters within SAP and internal systems.
  • Update release dates and status codes within SAP to ensure accurate order tracking and execution.
  • Manage inventory performance, including parameter settings, reduction initiatives, tracking key KPIs.
  • Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of components and finished goods in partnership with Supply Chain teams.
  • Develop and distribute recurring operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to key stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio management and allocation processes through cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Drive performance against company and departmental targets related to purchasing, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects and ad hoc assignments as required.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field.
  • 5 years’ Supply Chain Planning experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application.
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • SAP system experience highly preferred.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.

Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid Work Schedule- NJ Sommerville Office (Three days in the office and 2 days working from home).
