About the Role

A fast-growing consumer brand in the smart home space is seeking a Brand Content Creator based in the United States to elevate its presence across social platforms. This role is responsible for creating engaging short-form video content, building authentic community connections, and delivering compelling brand storytelling tailored to US audiences.

This is a hands-on creative role ideal for someone who understands social trends, internet culture, and how to turn product features into engaging, platform-native content.

Key Responsibilities

🎬 Short-Form Video Production

  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content (15–60 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
  • Develop creative concepts, scripts, hooks, and shot lists aligned with US audience preferences
  • Translate product features into engaging, story-driven content formats
  • Collaborate with external production partners by providing creative briefs, guiding direction, and reviewing deliverables to ensure consistency in tone and quality

💬 Community Engagement

  • Build and manage brand-owned communities across platforms such as Facebook, Reddit, and LinkedIn
  • Engage with users in an authentic and conversational manner — responding to feedback, addressing questions, and fostering discussions
  • Monitor community sentiment, emerging trends, and competitor activity, and provide actionable insights to internal teams
  • Support user-generated content (UGC) initiatives and community-driven campaigns

✍️ Social Copywriting & Content Planning

  • Write engaging, platform-specific copy including captions, hooks, and calls-to-action across social channels
  • Collaborate with the social media team to plan content calendars aligned with US cultural moments and global campaign timelines

🧠 Brand Copywriting

  • Develop clear and engaging English copy for websites, product launches, marketing emails, and campaign materials (including scripts and taglines)
  • Adapt global messaging into culturally relevant, localized content for US audiences
  • Contribute to the development of brand voice guidelines to ensure consistency
  • Partner with product and design teams to translate technical features into accessible and compelling narratives

Qualifications

  • Based in the United States
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong awareness of US culture and social media trends
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating short-form video, copywriting, and community engagement work
  • Hands-on experience in video production, including shooting, lighting, audio recording, and editing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field is preferred
