About the Role:

The Product Specialist supports the Product Management function for the German market across product data management, market analysis, competitive benchmarking, pricing support, GTM preparation, launch readiness, documentation and product content maintenance.

This role requires strong product understanding, analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with technical, commercial and market-related data. The Product Specialist works closely with the Senior Product Manager Germany and contributes to the successful market entry and growth of Geely’s product portfolio in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Data & Documentation Management

  • Maintain product specifications, feature lists, technical data and product comparison files.
  • Support preparation and validation of product documents, price lists, dealer materials, FAQs and internal product briefings.
  • Track product changes from HQ and ensure local documentation is updated accordingly.
  • Coordinate product-related inputs for Marketing, Sales, PR, Training and Dealer Network teams.

2. Competitive Intelligence & Market Benchmarking

  • Monitor competitor products, prices, specifications, equipment levels, incentives and market movements.
  • Prepare competitive comparison tables and benchmarking summaries.
  • Support price-value analysis and market positioning work.
  • Maintain structured market intelligence databases using tools such as JATO, DAT, Schwacke, Power BI or other available sources.

3. GTM & Launch Readiness Support

  • Support the preparation of GTM materials, launch checklists, dealer product information and training content.
  • Coordinate follow-ups with internal stakeholders, HQ, Sales, Marketing, PR, Homologation and external service providers.
  • Track open product launch items, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Support post-launch performance tracking and corrective action preparation.

4. Pricing, Residual Value & Sales Performance Support

  • Support data preparation for pricing analysis, equipment benchmarking and sales performance reviews.
  • Collect and structure residual value, leasing, fleet and competitor information.
  • Prepare input files and summaries for management decision-making.
  • Track sales, dealer feedback, customer feedback and product performance indicators.

5. Homologation & Regulatory Coordination Support

  • Support product-related documentation for homologation, WVTA/CoC, IVI/ZBII, KBA-related topics and local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate data requests between HQ, local Product Management and external service providers.
  • Maintain structured trackers for regulatory and market readiness topics.
  • Support timely documentation flow to avoid launch or registration delays.

Role Interface

The Product Specialist reports functionally to the Senior Product Manager Germany and works closely with:

  • HQ Product / R&D / Homologation teams
  • China Liaison Manager
  • Marketing and PR
  • Sales and Dealer Network
  • Aftersales and Training
  • External service providers and data suppliers

Required Profile

  • 2-4 years of experience in automotive, product management, market intelligence, sales planning, homologation support or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work accurately with technical, pricing and market data.
  • Good understanding of the German automotive market, vehicle specifications, competitor benchmarking and customer expectations.
  • Structured working style with strong attention to detail and follow-up discipline.
  • Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills; experience with JATO, DAT, Schwacke, Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
  • Fluent English and German; Chinese language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Interest in EVs, new energy vehicles, connected car features and automotive market trends.
  • Willingness to work 100% onsite at the Raunheim office.

Positioning of the Role

This role is designed as a qualified Product Management specialist role. The Product Specialist contributes to operational product management, data analysis, documentation, benchmarking and coordination, while strategic ownership, prioritization, stakeholder alignment and Product Management governance remain with the Senior Product Manager Germany.
