We’re partnering with a highly regarded public practice firm to recruit an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Bookkeeping Manager to lead and manage a growing bookkeeping function.

💼 About the Role

In this role, you will take ownership of the firm’s bookkeeping services, working closely with accountants and clients to deliver high-quality, timely financial information and advisory

support. You will manage a portfolio of premium business clients, oversee junior staff, and play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships.

About our Client

Our client is a tech-savvy, fast growing established public practice accounting firm with a large portfolio of HNWI/Gs clients & large entities that require an experienced Senior Bookkeeper.

  • Duties:Managing a portfolio of clients
  • A high level of Communication and Client satisfaction is a high priority
  • Data entry and management of customer/supplier invoices and payments
  • Managing payables and receivables, and bank reconciliations
  • Payroll Management of multiple clients, BAS, PAYG and Superannuation
  • Cash flow management and projections
  • Monthly, quarterly and EOY reporting
  • Maintain quality control across the organisation
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory obligations

About You:

  • Minimum Cert IV in Bookkeeping
  • Xero advisor and MYOB-certified
  • 5+ years bk experience in Top-100 or large boutique firms (ideal candidate)
  • Proficient across - BAS/IAS, AP/AR, Payroll, Bank Recon & Financial Reporting
  • Proven ability to manage large multi-entity SME portfolio - Unsupervised
  • Service driven with a capable and confident communication style
  • Ability to work in a team cohesively and collaboratively
  • Highly organised and strong time-management skills are a must
  • Able to problem solve and a strong attention to detail
