The Role
Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Planning the EL1 Service Designer will join a team focused on improving service experiences for Australians. This is a leadership role within a multidisciplinary agile environment, where you will drive human-centred design initiatives and collaborate across teams to deliver new and improved services.
As an EL1 Service Designer, you will lead research, design, and facilitation activities that shape future service experiences. You'll work closely with stakeholders, users, and internal teams to ensure services balance desirability, feasibility and viability while being inclusive and aligned with strategic goals.
You’ll be working independently under broad direction and will exemplify public service professionalism. You’ll adopt a principled approach to the Australian Public Service (APS) Values and Code of Conduct.
